Trivia

  • Chasmosaurus is the only Ceratopsian cut from the game.

  • It's likely Chasmosaurus was cut in favor of the better known Styracosaurus.

  • Chasmosaurus' early model was later on modified and reused for Styracosaurus.

  • Chasmosaurus is mis-named as "Triceratops" in the Jurassic Park Institute Site.

  • Despite not being part of the final game, certain artists and modders kept the legacy of Chasmosaurus by doing fanarts and mods that added the species into the game.

  • Chasmosaurus is the only cut dinosaur of the game that we got a glimpse of its design.

  • Alongside Iguanodon, Chasmosaurus is the only cut dinosaur that has some more info other than a mention in the Constant.ini file.
