Characters

Throughout your journey of building the next successful Jurassic Park, many common faces will appear that will help and guide you through the construction of the park, from economies, security, the dinosaur's health, and many other stuff. They're a vital support for you to rise up your park and get the feedback necessary to achieve the 5 stars.

There are 10 different Characters that will guide and help you in your campaign, those being separated in different categories for the park: Park Board, Security, Research, Dinosaur Welfare and Public Relations.

Park Board

Formed by two characters, the Park Board is where INGEN reviews your performance in building Jurassic Park, the give the necessary feedback if something goes wrong, or if something is going in the right direction, you can see the Park Board Characters below:

Peter Ludlow

The second in command, and also John's nephew, Peter Ludlow is an important figure that gives the message of bad or good progress in Board Meetings. It's interesting how in JPOG he survived, compared to his fate in The Lost World..

John Hammond.png

John Hammond

The Father of Jurassic Park himself, John Hammond is the creator of the project and the one that will notify you whenever the park's star rating raises or lowers, also notifying when a new Board Meeting will come.

Security

Formed by three characters, the Security division of Jurassic Park is a vital division to make sure the park, its dinosaurs, and most importantly, its visitors stay safe on your island, you can see the Security Characters below:

Ray Arnold

John "Ray" [Raymond] Arnold, or just Ray Arnold, is the Control Room chief staff that overviews everything of the incredibly automated Jurassic Park. He's gonna warn you whenever facilities have problems, or give you a view of the Weather.

Robert Muldoon.png

Robert Muldoon

The head of Security of Jurassic Park, Muldoon takes care of the Park Rangers and their activities, Muldoon also warns you whenever a dinosaur breaks out from its paddock, or whenever Visitors may need to be rescued from dangerous situations.

Ranger Pilot

The Ranger Pilot is one of the many Rangers that make sure Jurassic Park remains safe, despite not having a profile icon, we can see one of his Rangers by the side of the Helicopters from Rangers.

Research

The Research team is another vital division to make Jurassic Park what it is right now, formed by two characters, the Research is also separated by two sub-divisions, the Lab Research, and Hammond Foundation, with their respective characters that you can see below:

Dr. Henry Wu

Dr. Wu is the chief Geneticist of Jurassic Park, leading all operations on research of new dinosaurs, and also in the various new facilities, equipment, and improvements for your park. Without him, there would be no Jurassic Park..

Alan Grant.png

Dr. Alan Grant

Dr. Grant is the chief Paleontologist of the Hammond Foundation that overviews the Fossil Hunting Expeditions for Jurassic Park, you and him manage these expeditions, how many teams, where, and even which fossils you may want to search for.

Dinosaur Welfare

With only one character here, the Dinosaur Welfare division takes care of the health and welfare of the Park's Dinosaurs, showing their population numbers, if they're thirsty or hungry, or if they're sick. You can see more about them below:

Ellie Sattler.png

Dr. Ellie Sattler

Dr. Sattler is the only character of this division, giving you insights of the Dinosaurs conditions in your park, and also giving the proper warnings if the animals get sick or in poor living conditions.

Public Relations

With two original characters here, the Public Relations division takes care of the security, welfare, entertainment and much more of your Park Visitors. They're a vital helping hand to make sure that people enjoy your Park as much as they can. You can see more about them below:

Jane Powers

The main original Character of the game, Jane Powers takes care of the Public Relations, guiding you to make sure that your visitors are safe and entertained when visiting Jurassic Park. She will also announce and help you with photo shootings in Safaris.

Park Manager's Assistant

She's the smaller helping hand of Public Relations alongside Jane Powers, instead of only taking care of the welfare of the Visitors, she also guides you on the construction of the park, and do public announcements for the Park's Visitors.

Trivia

  • Despite not having the original cast for the movie character voices, the Voice Actors that play the characters managed to capture the feeling of the original actors, passing the energies and feelings the characters had in the movies.

  • Surprisingly, Dr. Ian Malcolm, an iconic character of the first movie, isn't present in the game.

  • It's possible that Gerry Harding could've been used for the division of the Dino VETS, the Paleo-Veterinarians of Jurassic Park.

  • Although unclear why, characters like Dennis Nedry, Sarah Harding and others weren't selected for the game.

  • Robert Muldoon, Peter Ludlow, Ray Arnold and John Hammond appear in the game despite already being dead by the time you start a new park [2002].

  • Jane Powers is the only original character with a profile icon, the Ranger Pilot and Park Manager's Assistant lack profile icons.

  • There's no Jurassic Park III-only Characters in-game, aside from Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler.

  • Peter Ludlow is the only The Lost World-only Character of the game.

  • It's possible that either Jane Powers or a new original Character would take care of the cut Jurassic Park: Institute building.

  • Despite Ray Arnold being the Head of Park Control, the Control Room itself is never mentioned in-game.

  • The Park Board in-game is the same one as seen in a deleted scene from The Lost World Jurassic Park.

  • Both Dr. Wu and Dr. Grant were originally planned to work on the Jurassic Park Institute, which was the respective building for Research Operations and Park Tours.

  • Dr. Henry Wu is often called "Harry Wu" as a mistake in the game multiple times.

  • Both Dr. Wu and Peter Ludlow are voiced by the same actor.

  • Both Ray Arnold and Ranger Pilot are voiced by the same actor.

  • Looking by her clothes and hair style, Dr Sattler has her Jurassic Park III's visual as Ellie Degler rather than the visual from Jurassic Park.

  • Jane Powers' Voice Actress is also named Jane.

  • Despite not being a movie Character, Jane Powers has the most Audio and Text messages out of all Characters in-game.

  • Peter Ludlow and the Park Manager's Assistant have the most Text Messages out of all Characters.

  • John Hammond is the Character with least Text Messages.
