Pleasing Tourists

"They're cute, so how could they not please tourists? Thanks to recent movies, this dinosaur's popularity has been on the rise. Dino nerds love to watch Gallimimus interact with any of the dinosaurs from the late Cretaceous era. Ankylosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Homalocephales work great for fun lovers, while teaming them with Albertosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, and Velociraptors excites thrill seekers." ~Prima's Official Strategy Guide

Trivia

  • At some point in development, Gallimimus has an actual mouth to open and close as the texture still holds the mouth for it, but the final version of the model doesn't.

  • Ironically, in real life Gallimimus lacked teeth, but the texture shows they were planning to give them teeth.

  • Alongside Dryosaurus, Gallimimus is one of the few species who only socialize with their own species.

  • Gallimimus in-game is surprisingly smaller than both real life and movie counterparts.

  • The Concept Art's Gallimimus has orange eyes instead of yellow like in the final game.

  • Looking by the addition of "01" in the "Pain" audio file for Gallimimus, it is implied that originally it had more audios for pain that were cut from the final game.

  • Gallimimus is the most social of the Small Herbivores, with a flock size limit of 20 individuals, while the others stop at 15.
