The Hunting Platform is a cut Attraction from JPOG, where Visitors could go in and hunt down Carnivore Dinosaurs for sport. The Hunting Platform is one of the best known Cut Buildings of JPOG, with Audio, Ini and even Rig Files still in the game. Thanks to promo shots we also have Pictures of how it looked like.
In-Game
The Hunting Platform is pretty similar to the Viewing Platform, with key differences such as the square layout instead of circle, and the Green Tent instead of Thatch Circular Roof. It seems the Hunting Platform used staircases for the Visitors rather than Elevators aswell. There's no signs of weapons or guns in any pictures of the Platform though.
Removal
Killing Dinosaurs for Entertainment for sure was NOT on John Hammond's Vision of Jurassic Park. The removal of the Hunting Platform was probably a last minute decision made for the greater good. Despite being a different attraction, it would've created some highly questionable thoughts regarding the game and its intentions with the Dinosaurs you create.
