Fences are the number one priority when building up Enclosures, they're the borders that keep the Dinosaurs in their respective areas. Fences come with 5 types in total, with only 3 in the final game, Low, Medium and High Electrified Fences. With Concrete Wall and Non-Electrified Fence being cut from the final game.

Low Security

The Lowest Tier of Security, the Low Security Fence is the first one you get, able to handle small species and calm herbivores, it's the weakest and can be damaged very easily. Needing repairs every once in a while.

Medium Security

Needing to be Researched, the Medium Security Fence is slightly stronger than the Low and it's helpful to hold down medium and large sized Animals, although it can still be severely damaged by rampaging dinosaurs or by weather disasters. The Medium Fence is also inspired by the Perimeter Fence seen in Jurassic Park III.

High Security

The Strongest Fence of the game, the High Security Fence is the ultimate security holder against Rampaging Dinosaurs, being extremely resistant against their attacks and weather conditions. Although strong, the High Security Fence can still be severely damaged if not repaired properly. It's presumed that this is the final design for the original Concrete Wall as seen below.

Concrete Wall [Cut]

Very little is known about the Concrete Walls, it's not even clear if it was a separated Fence type or just an early design.

Leftovers of the Concrete Wall are in the final game though, whenever a Fence is broken, Concrete pieces are thrown around [Like shown on the left]. The Concrete Walls were the highest and most secure Fencing type to use in your Parks.

Fence Gates [Cut]

Fence Gates.png

Gates were originally part of the Game, being used attached to Fences, the Gates could have Tour Roads or Visitor Paths connected, working as a great way to build up safe sections of the Park.

Gates could likely be used and opened so Small and Medium dinosaurs passed through it, as a concept of Quarantine/Holding Pens.
