Spinosaurus

"This gigantic African predator is the largest terrestrial carnivore of the Early Cretaceous. The gigantic sail upon it's back helps to cool it down during heatwaves."

One of the largest and strongest, aswell as the second most famous Large Carnivore by the public, the Spinosaurus is a fan favorite from Jurassic Park III that found its way into the group of Large Carnivores of Operation Genesis.

Sexual Dimorphism

There's no signs of Sexual Dimorphism seen for Spinosaurus, although Jurassic Park III's Spinosaurus, in which JPOG's was based on, is mentioned to be a Female, with that being said, it can be assumed that the Final Version of Spinosaurus in the game is a Female aswell.

  • Spinosaurus went through 3 different versions of models and textures in development before reaching the final version.

  • Spinosaurus' Roars are modified and used to make Albertosaurus' Roars.

  • Unlike in the movie, JPOG's Spinosaurus doesn't use it's claws to attack.

  • Spinosaurus still has the Walk and Run cycles from Tyrannosaurus and Allosaurus in its Animations Library.

  • Alongside Carcharodontosaurus, Spinosaurus is one of the few dinosaurs who has Crocodile-like scales and scutes on its back.

  • Spinosaurus is perhaps the most movie-accurate model out of the movie dinosaurs in the game.

  • Spinosaurus is the tallest and longest Carnivore in the game.
