Pleasing Tourists

"Torosaurus is from the ever-popular late Cretaceous time period. With more than half the Jurassic Park dinosaurs from that era, you usually won't go wrong when you mix and match dinosaurs. For fun lovers, try Corythosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Gallimimus, and the especially friendly Triceratops. Thrill seekers won't complain if you place a Torosaurus with an Albertosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, or Velociraptor. Dino nerds just want to see historic authenticity, so any of the above dinosaurs work, as well as Ankylosaurus, Homalocephale, and Pachycephalosaurus."

Sexual Dimorphism

Torosaurus, despite not having any specific sex mentioned in-game, did have an early design with a shade of Blue and Yellow patterns on the frill, quite different from the final version's design, if that is a potential Sexual Dimorphism, we may never know, but it's an interesting possibility.

Trivia

  • Torosaurus has more Audio Files than a plenty of other 5 or 4 star Dinosaurs.

  • Torosaurus is the only large ceratopsian aside from Triceratops in the game.

  • In Alphabetical order, all the 3 Ceratopsians stay together, Styracosaurus, Torosaurus and Triceratops, in order.

  • Torosaurus can attack Land Cruisers if in panic, despite being a rare event.

  • Torosaurus is the only Ceratopsian that fights against one another for entertainment or dominance.

  • Early versions of Torosaurus had a blue and yellow coloration rather than grey and dark brown.

  • Originally, Torosaurus' security levels were Medium rather than Low.

  • The addition of "01" into Torosaurus' Roar implies they originally had more than one Roar audio that sadly ended up being cut.
