Flora

Plants exist on our planet for nearly 500 Million years. Adapted to Aquatic environments at first and slowly developing its way into land.

In the Jurassic Park Franchise, it is implied and briefly shown that John Hammond

used a variety of Prehistoric species of Flora to inhabit the paddocks of Isla Nublar.

Eventually, from 2005 and forward, Masrani Global would also lead research on Prehistoric Flora, using the Research Facility known as Botanical Gardens, of which would eventually become an attraction at Jurassic World.

Plants also hold great importance in Jurassic's Genetic History, Karacosis wutansis, or the Wu Flower, was the very first Hybrid Organism engineered by Dr. Henry Wu back in 1997, leading to the Dinosaur Hybrid projects such as the Indominus rex or Indoraptor.
